On these pages we do explain how to send any kind of payment (for disbursements) to RDE Wiesbaden.
There are four types of payments (for disbursements):
1. native payment inside of Germany (by wiretransfer)
2. foreign payment inside the EU (by SEPA wiretransfer)
3. foreign payment world wide and not USA (by wiretransfer)
4. foreign payment from any US bank (by US bank check addressed to our US office managers bank account)
Please notice: RDE no more ships to Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, all requests are wasted time and hopeless.
Small amounts from international customers :
The payment of small amounts is not simple, because the banks or bank like institutions are taking very different fees for their service. Sometimes the fee is very small, sometimes the fee is extreemly high.
So we will explain - in what case what to do.
For all payments from outside of Germany to RDE you need to read the following texts (in your language) :
Again, if you pay with wire transfer, you must address SWIFT + account number (outside EU worldwide) or IBAN + SWIFT / BIC (inside EU) !! This is very important.
We will no more accept the loss or high extra fees for missaddressed bankaccounts. We have the year 2005 now and all busynesspartners need to know how to pay worldwide. We are supplying a lot of help.
For all Payments :
- Currently, we do not handle creditcards for charging money,
- and we do not accept payments by Paypal or Bidpay or Western Union.
- Wire transfer to Germany in EURO is standard.
- An exception for North America / US / Canada is explained here.
Good news from July 2003
Europen payments in Euro had to become cheaper by new European law. It is named "SEPA - Single European Payment Area". EU buyers must use IBAN + SWIFT / BIC.
From all EU countries, even from UK and other european countries and from Russia, we got money in full. And from now on many of our customers did no more pay so much for that transfer.
New for not EU but European customers (below 200 Euros).
You may send the invoice amount of Euros within an envelope with the need of signing the reception of that envelope (called registerd letter). But you must put Euros as papermoney inside the envelope, no coins and it is on your own risc, until it does arrive here and we do personally sign the reception. This is the most eficient way to pay small amounts.
Customers outside Europe and outside North America need to use wire transfer. I know, that the handling fees from the banks are extraordinary high. If the need comes closer, i will have a paypal account. They will take up from 2.5% to 5% fee for the transfer and then I get a Dollar check or a transfer.
But paypal is just been bought from eBay (July 2002). And I dont like monopolists. So I am looking for affordable creditcard handling with about 2.5% fee. Any serious hint is welcome.

Some examples of successful payments
We got over 1200 Euros from a Russian customer within 3 days and we got it in full. So that works fine too. Thank you Michael Gorbatschow.
We got a payment from EU member Italy abou 92.- Euro - The result was, our bank did pay 82.- Euro onto our konto and the Italian buyer paid 102.- Euro at the counter. This was absolutely crazy !!! but did change in July 2003.
We got a payment from Switzerland about 1600.- Euro - The result was, our bank did pay 1598.50 onto our konto and the Swissman paid 1602.- Euro. Super
We got a payment from EU member Austria about 76.50 Euro. The Austrian paid to the German Post-Bank 76.50 and we got a check over 76.50 Euro. But he paid an extra of 10.- Euro fee. That means, it should work, but it was not cheap. Did change in July 2003.
We got a payment from South Korea. It was slightly fast (4 days) and handling was easy.
We got a friendly payment from Tokyo too. This customer did send 6 x 1000 Japan Yens. We have never had Yens in our hands, so we will not exchange it and keep it as a reminder, that trustful and fair international support is working fine.
